Rules and Regulations

After an interview all successful students are given copies of our rules and regulations. Both students and parents/guardians are encouraged to read them thoroughly.

Students are expected at all times to abide by the rules and regulations. It must be emphasized that the administration does not compromise the rules to suit a student or parent as discipline is the bedrock of academic excellence and high moral standards.

Code of Conduct

Enrolment into the school constitutes acquiescence and compliance of our rules and regulations.

The objective of these rules and regulations is to ensure discipline and integrity among students in order to maintain a conducive school environment.

Listed below are misdemeanours and the disciplinary actions that will be imposed.

Parents are urged to discuss them with their children and insist that they comply with the standards set by the school.

Junior School Uniforms and Regulations

GIRLSBOYS
Cream coloured blouse and brown pinafore
The shirt should be tucked in the pinafore at all times
Cream coloured short sleeves shirt and dark brown pair of shorts
The shirt should be tucked in the trousers at all times
The brown pinafore must be of a decent length 2” below the knee.
The school badge bearing your correct house colour must be
sewn on the top left yoke of the pinafore.
The shorts must be slightly above the knee and free enough
for easy movement.
The school badge bearing your correct house colour must be
sewn on the left breast on the shirt.
Friday Wear. Brown Skirt and School Print sewn as blouse.
Skirt must be below the knee and the band should be 2” wide only
Friday Wear. School print shirt and brown shorts.
Foot wear must either be brown or black, plastic/leather shoes or
sandals with low or medium heels 2” high.
‘Roman’ sandals are not allowed.
Foot wear must either be brown or black, plastic/leather shoes or
sandals not suede
Nail varnish or nail dyes, eye shadow must not be used. Only simple haircuts are allowed. “Cut” e.g. Grace Jones. Mike Tyson, etc are not allowed. The hair should be properly brushed each morning.
Jewellery and ornaments are not allowed except
a pair of simple/small earrings
Earrings and ornaments are not allowed
Elaborate hairstyles must not be worn. Artificial hair attachment and
jerry curls are not allowed. Hair can be straightened, combed neatly
into a simple style or kept tidily plaited. No hair decorations should
be used except a black or brown hair comb when necessary
Wearing of beard, moustache and sideburns are not allowed
Bleaching and skin lightening is prohibited. A student found in
that condition will be sent home immediately until the natural
complexion is restored.
The school’s T shirt must be worn during PE outdoor games

Ceremonial Uniform

A pair of dark brown trousers should be sewn and kept for official functions. School tie should be worn with short sleeve shirt/blouse on such occasions. We solicit your co-operation in ensuring that your Son/Daughter/Ward comes to school each day appropriately turned out in the correct uniform.

Please be advised that should your child/ward attend school unsuitably dressed he/she will be sent home.

Senior School Uniforms and Regulations

GIRLSBOYS
Cream coloured blouse and brown pleated skirt
The blouse should be tucked in the skirt at all times
Cream coloured shirt and dark brown trousers
The shirt should be tucked in the trousers at all times
The brown skirt must be of a decent length 2” below the knee,
and the width of the skirt band must be 2” wide.
The school badge bearing your correct house colour must be
sewn over the pocket on the left breast of the blouse.
There should be no “turnups” at the ends of the dark brown trousers
The school badge bearing your correct house colour must be
sewn on the left breast on the shirt.
